Finding the Late Winter Sun
in East Tennessee

Picture
A chilly but bright sun finally came out so we took a break from writing our “Return to Poland” series to take a drive through the beautiful East Tennessee countryside!

Its not quite Spring yet, but things are greening up and the first bright flowers are poking their heads out of the ground.  The fruit trees are budding, getting ready to explode into delicate frothy flowers while other trees still hold their sculptural naked limbs up to the cold blue sky waiting for warmer weather.

The first babies of the season are snuggling near to their moms, sleeping in the sun while the herd munches fresh green shoots.
We hope you enjoy following along on our lovely country drive!
